I LOVE German T1 reticle! I don't get why its not more prevalent anymore.

This hunting rifle is a beauty Sir.

    Factory fitted see-through claw mounts.
Dated 1951 on barrel and receiver.
Matching serial numbers on barrel, bolt and stock (in barrel channel).
    Czechoslovakian and German (Ulm) proofmarks.
Right side of barrel ahead of rear sight marked in English "Made in Czechoslovakia".
Receiver and barrel stamped "Geco" (German retailer, Gustav Genschow & Co.)

Stock stamped WB in a cartouche on bottom of stock behind the pistol grip.

    ...and its not my tally...
although I could give the previous owner a run for his money in terms of harvested deer numbers,
I have never even seen a Wild Boar in the wild.

    Weight approx. 6lb. 10 oz. w/o scope.

How about a 30 round mag AR with co witnessed flip up irons and a red dot like I ran with naked and unafraid in the 80s?
For coyotes and light game sure. As my only hunting rifle, heck no. I wouldn't want an AR10 due to weight and length of receiver, but I'd want more energy than a small frame cartridge.

Nice set up. I like your choice of cartridge too. Perfect do everything round. I’m planning a similar build soon but I’ll be opting for the full sized mag just for availability reasons.

I would never dare taking an original into the field.
First deer I ever shot with a rifle was a original man killer. Did it look like it'd been through hell? Oh ya. Did it shoot good? Better than allot of high end bolt action I've seen.

And the people who own and shoot them just chuckle at those statements."

The only folks I've ever seen "hunting" with guns the cost of a decent truck were folks from Middle East and Russia..... H&H Galore.....

My Holy Grail rifle is a Brno ZG47 chambered in 7x57.

After many years I found one in the carbine configuration.

    Top of the mountain.
