Our client was charged with improper storage as the charging officer thought the firearms looked restricted. Despite the fact that the firearms were non restricted and stored correctly we still needed to provide him with a lawyer and cover his $15,000 in order to get the charges dismissed.

    There's also this story https://firearmlegaldefence.com/gun-...arges-dropped/

Our client had a colleague report a false accusation to the police. Despite the simple phone call with no proof to back it up, our clients firearms were taken and his license suspended. We provided him with a lawyer who was able to discover that the allegations were completely fabricated and got all charges dropped and firearms and licnse returned. We covered his $13,000 legal bill.

    Just a couple examples.

In the later case due you sue the person that filed the false accusation.

No problem at all. Yes, the program and all the benefits are available to all Licensed Canadian gun owners in every province and territory.

Zach, threads like this are an AWSOME idea to help spread the word. Tell people exactly what they are getting for coverage (reading legal fine print is usually painfull and clear as mud) clearly.

This is a good deal, you can easily pay $300 an hour to speak to a lawyer.

At this time it would be for any personal matter only.

    Thanks Max,

I'm going to do a couple so people get a good understanding of what the program is rather then just rely on reading the wordings.

What does this insurance cost per year? Does it cost the same in each province? My apologies if this has been covered.

Or is it a case by case cost?

    Do it, gentlemen!!

I was just about to do so, when all my firearms were seized by the OPP after an anonymous phone call to complain about a Facebook post (a joke) I had written. $25k and 1 year later, I won the case but ...... what a late decision!
