    This MP-40 is awesome!

Thanks TradeEx for bringing these in. Feel and touch is original like, weight as well.
Best part is, she is .22LR and non-restricted. Only thing wrong is angle of underfolder in the extended position.
Critical parts are made out of steel but the rest is unknown metal that has accurate bluing that will wear properly and it will look more and more authentic as time goes by. She is going to age properly.

    Thanks again for prompt service.

Probably ZAMAK (pot metal). My gsg 1911 is made from that. Not very durable but probably made the final cost cheaper.

Are all their guns made of castings? I wonder if the 9mm they have in the states is made the same way. Hope not.

Not sure if they all are but everyone i have seen is made of ZAMAK. Typically it is not an issue but i know the slide stop on the 1911's loves to mill away a section of the slide..Eventually rendering it useless.

I have the 1911 conversion kit and its sloppy so the hammer was occassionally striking the back of the slide a bit on it's way down to the firing pin. It did not take long to wear away. But the price was right and it seems to go bang every time.

Only time will tell how good or bad these parts will hold up.
Initial impression she is not plastic shell like others.
