Technical question. Whats stopping the mr223 from going full auto if you put the top on an auto lower? Because i dont see any other differences than the tabbed extension and slotted carrier.
I'm guessing the MR bolt carrier is cut back so it won't trip the sear, like all of the semi auto AR bolt carriers that are made. The auto lower is the prohibited part because it keeps humanity safe from the "evil cabal of sentient firearms with bad intent".

The MR upper doesn't have the "cut out" for the auto sear IIRC.
