These optics look great and I really like my prostaff 7, but the magnification range is a bit limiting.

Not that they are asking, but a 3-18 and 4-24 range would take these from the target shooting market which they already have a lot of strong competition in, to both target and hunting. Adapting the magnification range would allow them to have a foot on more than one turf.

Putting my pennies away for probably a strike eagle 4-24 or maybe a Leupold 3-18x50. The Nikon would be on the shortlist if not for the magnification range. Rifle is being built for antelope and maybe sheep or deer, prairies and mountains. I like what primary arms did for themselves by creating reticles around a bandwagon cartridge (6.5CM), I never heard of them til recently, it probably didn't hurt their business any as they seem to be selling.

Nikon in contrast seems to be playing conservatively, remember Kodak cameras...
