I'm not sure the added weight will do much for recoil vs aluminum on this style of handgun. That hudson h9 apparently ran the same with aluminum vs the steel.
Fun fact* So much so, nobody wanted the steel frame and hudson went bankrupt because they didnt have the alloy frame version in full production.

If someone got to try this, let us know. Especially vs another brig slide variant.

Beretta thinks they can make a competition gun after years and years of IPSC competitors using better platforms available that have withstood the test of time?

Not sure of anyone else smells it, but the stench of bs is strong.

This is just an attempt to roil popular appeal for a failed platform in the pistol sports world... They're just trying to stay relevant and afloat in a market that already knows the fallacies of this gun.

Tell that to the U.S. Marine Corps Shooting teams that shoot accurized Berettas at 50 yds , one handed, and shoot bullseyes all day. Try that with your "better platforms".

Looks beautiful. Kind of an m9a3 on steroids. Pricing is quite on the high side IMO.

If their point is to have an ipsc production ready gun, at that price range they are competing with higher end guns like tanfoglio’s. Even shadow 2 are cheaper. Lest not forget that both of these guns have a track record and a following that is going to be hard to break.

Still a beautiful looking pistol though.
