I’m not familiar with Kahles as a brand and wonder if the Helia can handle being mounted onto handgun slide?

The Helia can handle any recoil you can throw at it. I run one on a Derya 12 gauge. Exceptional quality.
It is longer than other red dots so it might not be the best for a handgun. It has a better red dot than my Trijicon RMR and the battery is changed from the side so you don't lose your zero when you change the battery.

Kahles is great kit but will be a bit large for a handgun I'd have thought

Please ignore my post as Kahles confirmed it’s not intended for use on a pistol and can not offer a warranty when used on a pistol. Not the message I wanted to hear but great customer service for responding to me.

Kahles is a good company. Good to hear they are looking after someone even if it means they are less likely to be a customer.
