    Wk180 Disassembly Questions

Hey, I figure this is maybe the best place to ask questions about the WK180. I bought a used one that is quite dirty so I am taking it apart to clean but I ran into a few issues. First is the gas piston cup is jammed in the gas block. I poured some solvent in and still nothing. The video I found online says to rack the bolt a few times to loosen it up but that didn't help either. Can I use a punch and punch the piston rod from the receiver side to bust loose the gas piston cup? I dont see any other way

Oh... The screw is out obviously...

Second... While messing with the gas piston assembly thing I noticed that I can slightly move my barrel... I can twist side to side and it shifts back and forth... Just a small amount... Do I need to tighten my barrel nut then obviously? Is there any way to index the barrel and gas system? Or just try to get it as straight up and down as possible so the piston is sliding straight back and not on an angle? Then just crank on the nut? Or is there a torque spec?

    Thanks guys!

    Racking the bolt should work...

Curious what serial range your model is?

I had to use a punch to get mine out, just be careful not to hit the bushing and it should be fine.
