Blanket, Ranger, aka Poncho Liners Woodland, aka Woobie

Blanket, Ranger, aka Poncho Liners Woodland, aka Woobie
    This is my Woobie,

    There are many Like it,

    But this one is Mine.

Multi-use ranger blanket. Great for those chilly nights around the campfire, then close it up and crawl in to use as a light-weight sleeping bag or sleeping bag liner.
This piece of kit cannot possibly be as warm as the troopies say.
I've come to the conclusion that each one of the troops has so much love for this Ranger Blanket that it has become a cherished piece in a miserable situation.
And that should be reason enough to get one.
I have heard a few "Woobie Love Stories" and they usually involve a Fire Picket Posting in November
These are genuine army issue poncho liners, not commercial copies.
They have been used and then returned to the Army and put out through the Surplus systems.

Surplus used. Tie closed. 84" x 64" open.

The woobie: never leave home without it.

The woobie, however, is one thing that will never be put on the bargaining table. Hellfire, the love of a significant other, all the gold in the world nothing is held as dear. The only rival for the woobie in the entire world is the service rifle.
