Any other legit JTF2's that can chime-in? So far I just have one that laughed at this picture. If you're going to cash in on their service thru association, then I hope you have your #### together.

The upper looks very similar to the one we had in Afghanistan in 2010. Can't speak to legitimacy, though.

He's manager of federal sales at FN, IIRC.

From the pic, only the badger mount and and forehand may be the same.
Barrel and receiver are not what was part of the UOR riffles in theatre.
To my knowledge only one was left for sale to public and John from WS sold it about a year ago or so.
    My 2 cents on this....
Since this is where the questioning started...

It is our understanding that these uppers were returned to Canada around 2008, after replacement uppers had been sent.

    Ad edited for clarity.

Mr. Hipwell from Wolverine Supplies will be able to shed some light on the history with this particular example.

Wolverine Supplies were the one that supplied all the Armalite AR10 rifles to the CF for the Afgan mission, After the mission was completed the rifles were all returned to Wolverine Supplies, some were sold as complete rifles and a couple uppers were fitted a new lower receivers. There are barely a handful of them exist, so they are definitely worth collecting however this example is not where I would start the collection.

The other person to ask would be Epoxy 7 he owns a couple of complete rifles and has done some digging on the history of these AR10's.
