Here are specs. My question will even serious shooters pay ballpark $1.23 * $1.40 per bullet?

I'd try 100 6mmx110gr and 100 30x250gr just to evaluate them. I would have to see a marked improvement over Berger's before purchasing more after that. I also am anxious to see Litz's BC test results. I am having a hard time accepting Hornady's word for it.

I ordered some of the big 30 cal bullets just to see how they work in a couple of my big cased wildcats. Currently pushing 240 SMKs out the muzzle at 3650 FPS so hopefully the 250 A Tips will get around the 3500 FPS or more mark with good accuracy. The 8 twist barrel REALLY limits what bullet will work.

Rick, what calibre are you using to get 3650 fps? What twist do you think the new Hornadys will require?

A wildcat I came up with a few years ago I call the 300 Awesome. It is a radically improved 338 Lapua casing necked down to 30 cal. Uses 119 grains of US 869 powder to get that velocity with good accuracy (.4 moa). Casing life is fair after you rework them but mortality during reforming is high.
I hope to see 700 rounds out of the barrel before it is cooked.
It takes 14.5 MOA of elevation from 100 yard zero to make 1000 yard hits so pretty flat shooting. I went with a 1 in 8 twist barrel on this 1.
