    If we do the pre-order the troy 102 and use the discount code, does that equate to saving $120 off the $1799? Dumb question I'm sure but its been a long day

    Because... it has a 14.5” barrel which requires a SBR registration I.E. ATF form 4. Most commercial AR-15s have 16” barrels because of this.

    A 20” barrelled 308 AR pattern rifle would still sell easily in the U.S.

    There are multiple patterns with an AR-10 type. Many manufacturers are proprietary and they still sell.
