Not sure this is true.
The Motorcycle manufacturers and dealerships: ie fat pockets Honda(2020 Africa Twin), Yamaha (Ténéré 700) and KTM (790 adventure) are doing similar presales for hotly anticipated new Adventure Bikes.
The first batch is always sold out, so you cannot even test one before you expected to pay up in full.
I have personal experience with Harley doing the same back in the 1980s when everyone wanted a new HD Softail. I was lucky as our dealership in Victoria; Steve Drane did not jack up the price and then add another $10K for stupid Live to Ride crap on the bike with the take it or leave it attitude. HD attitude has changed with their falling sales, and they had tours across Canada with the almost production-ready electric Live Wire bike. The first time any manufacturer let customers test ride a pre-production bike.
It would be great to have a Troy set up a range day tour across Canada as the motorcycle manufacturers now do in Canada.
Now I have never met Ryan. However, he has always been fair and reasonable in my few transactions with him.
BTW Man up works both ways. You are always free to set up shop, spend your capital and show the world how it is done.
I for one, have zero interest in investing in the gun industry in Canada. This business has enough ups and downs without all the jerks in the middle.
And I am not referring to any specific person, rather the Canadain population as a whole.
Is this their website? Don't see anything similar in their 308 section.
