Well, its official, non restricted registry.....

    We just got this notice:

These changes will result in the addition to your licence of new conditions related to the retention and preservation of records of non-restricted firearms.

Please find below the business licence conditions that will be added to your current licence as of May 18, 2022.

A notice, with these new conditions, will be mailed to your business address.

So, even if we're just shipping something for gunsmith work. Everything is recorded?

As this sounds like its for business, what happens to the individual owner selling a NR firearm privately?

This seems worse than the original registry... which people also didn't comply with. Just sayin'.

So what happens when a NR firearm is sold three times to other people... there is still no requirement for me to keep any records when I sell a NR to someone...so its all really pointless.

Thats exactly what i was thinking. I imagine friends selling each other NSR for a long time to come and within their own social circles.
The Liberals plot to disarm Canadians, and in doing so, record numbers of firearms are now flying off the shelves and into the hands of legal gun owners who wont be so quick to give them up.
