I have one already and I’m still thinking about it lol - my other one is the takedown trapper with the case hardening and octagonal barrel so it fills a different niche right?

Yeah super smooth. I have a well worn older Marlin 1894 that is quite slick, but this new Winchester is at least as smooth feeding right out of the box. I think the 1892 is my new favorite lever action gun.
