    Who we are!

Thank you for taking the time to check us out! We are Chimera Firearms Training. We strive to help you shoot better, whether you are new to the sport or a long time shooter, we want to help you improve. Our team of instructors come from various shooting backgrounds and draw on that experience to help you improve. We have current and former military members, police, paramedics, hunters and competition shooters. We offer both simulated and live fire training. Our state of the art shooting simulator allows us to train anywhere and be 100% safe as no live firearms or ammunition is required. Students will utilize modified Glock 17 pistols to learn the basics of safe handling, grip, stance, sight alignment and trigger control while being afford the time to hone those skills without having to worry about ammo costs. We are located in Oshawa, Ontario right behind Gangons sports. We utilize their indoor range for live fire training, as well as Silverdale Gun club in St. Anns, Ontario.

CEO Taylor McCubbin works tirelessly to ensure each client we see leaves us having improved and gained knowledge and confidence in their skills. We provide training to new and experienced shooters, Military personnel, Police, and armed guards including ATC certifications. We are not just about the shooting side though. We also offer force on force instruction, weapons retention, edged weapon defense, handcuffing and arrests, trauma first aid skills and more.

Is the rifle class still being offered on May 20th?? Wondering if it will be canceled because it's on a holiday. Also if classes don't get filled up, are the rescheduled??
    Thanks

As long as we have students signed up, the class will go on as planned. We will always try to keep the class on as scheduled. Obviously there can be times where it may make more sense for us to reschedule, but we try and avoid that and work with the clients to make the best decision for everyone involved. Private classes are also an option for people with different schedules or that prefer a 1 on 1 teaching environment.
