To the best of my knowledge, it’s just a standard gen 3 Glock 17 with the RTF2 grip texture. Not stippled or anything aftermarket, and this specific model does not have the fish gill slide serrations as was common on the older RTF2 models.
As for advantage, absolutely nothing, unless you want the RTF2 frame texture.
I survived the gun control scare of 2013 and all I got was this t-shirt.......
And 30 PMags, 5000 rounds of .223, 3000 rounds of 9mm, 5 BCG's, 5 stripped lowers, and a really pissed off wife.
$850??? Is Glock now identifying as a Sig? Lol
I have normal (inside work) hands. I don’t use moisturizers. And I have zero problem with my RTF frame. In fact, my BHP bites me more.
What I find ironic is Glock made the frame nice and grippy, then made the slide so slippery with that finish on the Gen3! Sweaty hands are a no go if you want to rack fast!
Mine with the 9mm barrel installed.

Beautiful!
Slightly off topic -- did you change anything else or just the barrel? how is reliability? Which barrel is it?
I've read about people changing the extractor (I think) as well when they go 9mm.
Thanks
edit: forgot this was a dealer forum! Sorry -- PM if possible
Got mine already! G22 rtf2 with a .22 upper slide and an after market g22-9mm barrel. 3 calibers, one glock
