Wrapped in walnut and all cleaned up. DA pull is gross. SA pull is surprisingly nice.

A bunch came in about 5 years ago and they were garbage. I bought one......
It did NOT have the cross bolt ! and let me say that the frame was cracked. !!
The gun had terrible accuracy. I could not hit a 8x8 inch plate at 15 feet LOL

Looks like these news would be ALOT better. As for accuracy......I hope a lot better than mine.

You had the right idea slapping wood on cold war iron. I found these on grips4u dot net.

And what goes nice with wood? A monogrammed leather holster. For Sundays and going to meetings and such. My favorite pistol by far.Name: 2019-10-27 16.57.38.jpg

Can't wait - mine should be arriving on Thursday!

I've also been looking at walnut grips: there's a nice chequered pattern set available from Gun Grip Supply in the US.

They also offer a slotted groove design.

Nice that they come with the screw and escutcheon already in the grip. Getting the original out of the stock grip is a little tricky.
