I did some midnight gardening last night and ordered one of these. I had been debating it all week. I also ordered a set of the sweet Turkish walnut grips off Ebay. I probably should have ordered a spare mag. Definitely looking forward to getting this.

I wanted to share some pictures of one of these awesome Walther P1's that I purchased from Nordic Marksman. We are lucky to be able to buy such mint surplus. I also installed a set of the nice Turkish Walnut grips that another member has on a P1 on this thread.

That looks great. Beautiful grain on your grips.

    Dang.

I only just saw this thread now?

I would love an 11/83 dated one, the month and year I was born.

Yes, if you can bring in any more in that condition, I would like one!

Alloy frame. The P-38 was all steel until after WWll then was made with aluminum frame. I'm not sure what the alloy frame of the P1 is made of.

Looks like Nordic has more of these awesome P1's in stock. Nordic should post some pics of the recent arrivals! I still can't get over how mint my P1 is!

Same here actually. I got mine on the last batch. I could be mistaken but mine looks completely unissued and unfired (minus the test rounds). It’s a fantastic shooter and an beautiful piece of Cold War history. Scoop me up while they are available.
