    Are these thread patterns found on anything other than Russian guns?

    What advantages does this brake have? Recoil reduction? Blast direction? Flash suppression?

    Too late for me :/ just ordered today a Zenitco DTK 2L and a Delta Tek IPSC from the motherland. Wish you guys have more options for brakes!

    These thread pitches are used on a wide selection of American Rifles. For instance my BCL 102 is 5/8 x 24 TPI. But if you want a more detailed article on this check out this link https://www.silencershop.com/blog/po...ead-reference/

    These breaks are primarily focused on recoil reduction and countering muzzle climb. According to SRVV they say that these brakes reduce muzzle climb and felt recoil by up to 50%. From our experience and video reviews this seems accurate. However these produce quite the blast and do very little for flash suppression.
