I do not see one yet, but I just changed the first post a bit that it can be used as a communication /letter:

Dear MP or whoever,

The Liberals' gun ban study shows that the majority of the Canadians do not want a gun ban. This is based on fact and evidence collected by the Liberals' own gun consultation study where over 100,000 survey returns oppose any gun ban. Justin Trudeau government promised "evidence based" policy making, yet the Liberals government ignores its own "evidence based policy making" by persistently making ambiguous threat of a gun ban.

The latest threat by Bill Blair of using executive power to force through a prohibition, ignoring facts and evidences collected by the government itself, is undemocratic and it is an abuse of power. This is the same tactic attempted by Donald Trump to use executive power to build the borders wall against the will of people. As you have witnessed, executive order ultimately fails because it undermines our democracy.

After numerous scandals, this government is losing its mandate to govern. You, as a MP, has the duty to ensure executive power is not to be used to usurp democracy.

On one hand we see a scandal ridden government who is rapidly losing its mandate to govern....ignoring their own facts, and pushing their agenda thru force of prohibition.....

and on the other a government "forced" to use executive action to deal with an issue, in "support of facts", and the will of the people .........against a opposition party, media, entertainment and music industry and a brainwashed and outspoken minority of public that is pushing a political agenda....simply to garner votes and make trouble and attempt to stall the current democratically elected administration...and at the same time .... undermining the very foundation of their democracy.

these ideas are polar opposites .....and would lead to appear that you don't believe that "hundreds of thousands" of undocumented, unvetted, diseased...... and accompanied by criminal/terrorist elements are illegally sneaking across their southern border......

If this were happening in canada....I would hope that our government were doing the exact same as him......as well, if Trump were Prime Minister here.....we would not be having this conversation to begin with......

One is expensive and very difficult to tackle, the other is less expensive and very easy to tackle. One group obeys laws, the others do not. Politics is about looking good in the voters’ eye. The ultimate goal is to look good and get your party voted in next election. If you spending millions to tackle actual crime but dont do a good enough job, crime and violence continues and you look like a failure. Taking guns from law abiding citizens does nothing to reduce crime, but you get to claim X number of guns were taken off the street.

Agreed 100%. That's why Trudeau is trying to push this ban through now, because he knows he's a lost cause so he might as well ram through his unpopular agenda... It won't cost him any votes, because he's lost all the votes he can lose. It's not political suicide when you're already dead.
