Maybe. Only if you never plan on changing out any of the furniture.

Of course I know how to patch drywall.

I really wanted to grab something from these guys but they were out of stock so got mine from G4C. as you said it will end up around that. i just wanna get a decent adjustable gas block (130$) and wait till NM have their green furniture back on and complete my build

You don't have to spent huge bucks on a hand guard, stock and trigger guard if you don't want to. $200 to $300 can easily cover those parts for non-aluminum options. Then there's the sight or optics. Pop-ups are $100ish or pick an affordable optic. If you don't want to finish the build look around for the S&W M&P 15 Sport II or similar. If your favorite CGN dealer is out of the S&W the big box stores are selling them for good prices also if you have one locally. For anyone that would go to the range (assuming we'll be allowed to do so in a few weeks) occasionally the expensive or custom manufacturers can't be justified.

Already had some magpul furniture, a yankee hill folding gas block and a knights rail so this was a no brainer. Now for a stag 10!

    Lol wut

Generic MLOK free float handguard + Magpul CTR buttstock = well under 200$ from TNA. Just add BUIS or an optic of your choice.

What's the point of buying a Colt AR and dressing it up with junk?

No name aluminum is just as good as the BCM aluminum that you were about to pay 400$ for haha

    It’s a hand guard, friend. It’s not a watch or a car.

It’s just a milspec Colt. It’s not some exotic AR.
