Look as one of those PSA Freedom-15s, a real good place to start on a budget.

In retrospect, when the possibility of the AR-15 being banned earlier this month, everyone was scrambling in arms to get whatever stripped lower receivers they can get a hold of. And when it looked like there was no more, TNA stepped up with a whole bunch of these receiver set and at a affordable price. And sure, had TNA said they were BCL to begin with, perhaps a few buyers would have stayed away but I'm sure people would have still have bought them given the situation. My biggest question I have is, I wonder did BCL quickly rushed production on these lower receivers to get them out in the market? From the pics, they sure do look rough.

Got mine yesterday, finish is a little rough(I was expecting that given BCL’s past stuff, had some issues with the grip screw not being fully threaded, but Luckily I’m equipped to deal with that myself.

Overall I’m fine with it,TNA busted their asses to get these into the public’s hands, and I still have a functioning AR all built with spare parts for under $500 so I’m happy.

Now time to break out the rattle can and start blasting through all that Norinco 5.56 I have
It's not that I'm new to this....I'm just an idiot...

Looks like a beaver deburred those holes with its teeth. But that shouldn't affect function. Seems like they need to get someone a little better for hand finishing, or chuck an extra chamfer tool in the program. They're also pretty obviously vibratory deburring them in some kind of media; I don't know why they'd bother attempting to hand deburr those holes.

And... Trigger hole? Which? And how do you figure it isn't round?

I have to say that my BCL lower, unfinished, has no issues. The mystery upper, if indeed BCL, only had a few holes which were not deburred.

For the money I spent, I am satisfied.

I will upgrade as money, time and legal changes will allow.

Whats the hole above mag release hole? Spare trigger pin hole? Or optional round trigger pin hole for those with round trigger pins?
