Funny, my grandma had one just next to her door

Living single in an apartment she sure knew how to protect herself.

This is part of the CBSA memorandum.

The Government of Canada is committed to effective firearms and weapons control that targets criminals and at the same time maintains the highest standards of public safety. Firearms and weapons are high-risk commodities that can impact the safety, security and welfare of Canadians.

Targets criminals! No they target law abiding firearms owners.

Maintains the highest standard of public safety! No they ignore gangs, murderers, rapists and pedophiles. Plus our justice system has become a legal system designed for criminals.

I wonder what has to happen before we all wake up! They are eroding the rights and freedoms of our fore-fathers who gave their lives fighting for us.

How does one truly fight a corrupt, dirty and tyrannical government?

The provincial law states the owner must register it. I suspect CBSA released this statement for Quebec importers, since as soon as the gun is in QC territory, it needs to be registered.

There is no law that can require out-of-QC businesses to abide by a QC law. The onus is on the person who possessed the firearm on QC territory.

    Youza.

Think your bold got carried away.

They don't want to put all the criminals away, it would stop the billable hours.
A free society must outlaw harming innocent people to function, but when we seek to curtail what all of us can do, rather than holding each of us responsible for what we actually do, we give up on freedom itself.

Isn't the morning star already a prohibited weapon? I thought it was banned at the same time as brass knuckles and nunchucks.

    and 3-section staffs and kusarigama.

Sometimes I wish we lived in a Carl Douglasian world where gangs actually fought each other with the melee weapons we have prohibited.

I found your recent write up on Ar15 OIC very sobering.
