Basically they took care of the 901 trying to be a caliber convertible gun and focused on making it a reliable as heck 7.62 rifle thats accurate. I would love one! but I doubt it will be cheap and I doubt it will be ready before a ban kicks in....it will be a restricted firearm though.

100% restricted, that's true. Remains to be seen where we go with this ban talk. The POTUS new talking points on suppressors down South does not bode well in my mind.
I remember seeing something on CC's site I think that mentioned CAF snipers being involved in the development. Perhaps someone wants the Marksman Rifle concept restarted? This would do that nicely, though I think Cansof already bought Sig716s if memory serves.

Well then you answered your own question.

I'm confused by your post, because the HK G28 is an AR10...??

    Trolling? I'll bite.

Sr25 and M110 are a DI designs based on AR10 and operating at the limits in order to maintain the weight in check.

G28 is HK piston driven AR10 pattern rifle which has all the flawed parts beefed up for reliability.

To confuse Congress US Army named it M110A1 as it was a mere modification to M110. Cheeky I say. After all, they "just added a piston" to existing rifle.

In my (admittedly limited) experience, the LE901 was already DMR-worthy despite its intended role as a "Modern Battle Rifle" for the forever wars in the deserts. My 901 with its bone-stock (free-floated) 16" Barrel reliably prints sub-MOA, 5-round groups @ 100m firing 175gr FGMM SMKs. It has been extremely reliable when kept properly lubricated. My Colt 901 is easily the accuracy equal of my LMT MWS, with the MWS firing either .308 or 6.5 CM Match ammo. It will be interesting to see what CC has changed on the LE901 to improve the system's already reliable operation!

The LMT DMR stock is sexy in FDE.
