If I remember the 'rules'- a government cannot impose a regulation on an item that by definition was never regulated before and included in a Regulation that at its origin had nothing to do with that item. In other words, if uppers were never classified as restricted- the govt can't suddenly make them illegal. because they 'might' be used for illicit activity. You can't presume that people 'might' break the law. That's mens rea and its protected by the Charter.

Till today I thought that in Canada the most disadvantaged/discriminated person would be white, straight, and able to work and pay taxes Christian male. So-called, invisible "majority". Today I can add "law-abiding gun owner" to that line.
Although I only own bolt, pumps and lever actions, you all still have my full support. Together we stand.
Hate to tell you but:
" S.92: Any firearm with the bore diameter of 20 mm or greater..." 20 mm is 12 gauge. So, unless your pumps are .410's..they're now prohibited. Better tell all your skeet shooting pals, duck hunters, geese hunters, etc. etc. The models may not be named..but they don't have to be under this definition.
Noted also on Page 57 of the Regulation in table format.

50 years ago or so after growing up in the military decided not to go military--big choice, at the time meant joining the Canadian economy for which I had little respect but much curiosity, at the same time no desire to follow orders from folks I despised.
Turns out for me there was no good choice. Socialists continue to run Canada and psychopaths continue to turn up in the military (thinking of Trenton, and Clinton, Ontario).
If I had to guess, juniour is good for Canada in that he finally moves us from the US 2nd Amendment and defense against government by guns (an archaic notion) to defense against government by computer, as predicted by the new age of hackers.
Edited to add: Also welcome to the info age predicted by Henry Kissinger and Marshall McLuhan: the age of information: stone age cheek by jowl with medieval tribalism and 1st world modernity.
Welcome to 1984. We have juniour to thank for that.

Wad now going to the CPC rather than gun lobby groups. You can't fix stupid.
They are banning weapons made to kill as many people as possible in as short a time as possible, or some such phrase. That is a description of the longbow. They will likely ban them, too. Think I'm joking? The banned the morning star decades ago, and it's been obsolete since about the 13th century.
