You better believe I have my “old” tinfoil hat on, right and tight. If you want to borrow it you just have to scratch out the Kim Cambell, Alan Rock names and replace it with Trudeau.

The 33rd glock mags are really a 31rd mag with a +2 baseplate right? Couldn't they be exported with a regular baseplate and be in compliance?

You say that there's no way the U.S. would care about these mags, but think they'd care about Canada not wanting them imported? Does it hurt when you stretch that hard? The U.S. imposes export regulations on firearms and accessories for national security reasons - that is, ostensibly, to keep these things out of the hands of foreign militias and terrorists.

It's a good thing the RCMP haven't started revoking PAL's for insane conspiracy ranting on gun forums yet.
    Thanks for the reply!

Regardless what I have said or you have said

Does anyone else think the timing for this is a little ironic for what has been happening in our country lately?

So, buy from another country, might cost a bit more but it might be less too, if the market is there, many countries will fill the need.

Or is the US saying that they aren't allowing any more export of these?

If the US is saying this, there had to been some behind closed talks with Canada and the US agreed to changed the export rules and drop this BS

there is no way the US would give 2 $hits about these mags

Canada totally had something to do with this
Canada has nothing to do with it. US is stopping export to everywhere, not just to canada. If you can source them from anywhere else, you're good to go.
