You did not bring enough hahahahaha. Full Racks only (5K)
Bolts are more satisfying anyways. I prefer my single shot Olympic Walthers to any other gun in the fields. Set up the rest on the roof of the truck, and a cooler of water, an umbrella and I am in my happiest of places.

Gophers are by far the best shooting fun one can have!
Ask 3 different CO's get 2 different answers.
I have been looked at by CO's driving around, and the odd RCMP. I usually make safe my gear, and wander over to talk with them if they stop or hail me.
Nothing ever said, they just ask what I am doing, and I reply 'Gopher shooting' and they wish me good shooting. If it's really hot out, I usually bring the cooler with me so the officer can choose a Coke or a water
So, to answer your question, the shots when shooting from an elevated position go to ground faster, I can see any and all approaching persons, animals, vehicles, and hazards. I did explain that once to a CO and that is as far as the conversation went.

A side note just spoke to an RCMP officer on the phone. Not inside the vehicle (standing in the bed and leaning on the roof), keys are in my pocket, and the shooting platform is safe, as are the firearms. As well I am off the road and have permission from the farmer to shoot gophers.
So unless one was unsafe, there does not seem to be an issue.
