Nobody needs this, it’s merely a want. These are used for a variety of reasons, some ppl like to build clones of iconic military deployment kits, or favourite configurations.
Night shooting is legal in Canada, so you could mount your Night Vision and go blast at the range with this. Not everyones cup of tea, but luckily, its not your call.
These units are not the full military power ones, they are 1/10 as powerful (5mW vs 50mW), so you won’t be calling in any laser strikes with them...

Calling in an airstrike anytime soon?
Maybe a quick early evening artillery barrage?

Pretty sure you can't legit export these out of the states even for civi models, so yeah there's an ITAR stamp margin on that.

It's a cool toy, but let's talk when you guys get thermal units in... I'd say go large or go home ehehe.

For starters, these shouldn't be a $3k laser; the mark up on this is obscene. I understand that businesses have to make money and stuff, but goddamn

To answer your question, IR lasers and illuminators are pretty much a necessity when shooting under NODS

“Out of stock” - I guess the price was right for some people. Supply and demand always wins.

Listen, and understand. That Liberal is out there. It can’t be bargained with. It can’t be reasoned with. It doesn’t feel pity, or remorse, only fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until your guns are gone. Vote out LibNet.
