The Ruby Ridge incident resulted in the shooting death of an unarmed woman holding her baby at the hands of an FBI sniper, a 14 year old boy was shot in the back by member of the Marshall Service with a burst of MP-5 fire, and a Deputy US Marshall was killed. When standoffs occur, which they could when forced disarmament takes place, bad things can happen. We already know from High River that A) we are not immune from police excesses, and B) the police agencies will not acknowledge that excesses have occurred, never mind take responsibility for them, and C) the politicians will fail to take responsibility for the excesses of the police. So the Ruby Ridge analogy is not so much about gun owners shooting cops, but rather how quickly a situation brought about solely for political ideology, can result in the public losing respect for and faith in their police. The optics are bad from the point of view of the CACP.
This reminder should be made a sticky.

My use of “they” refers to corupt anti gun/globalist government.

No incident ever goes to waste. Every incident will boost certain agendas.
As for guns, every shooting that’s happens from now on will be used against us. Also don’t forget that the mainstream media is heavily involved. It’s a powerful weapon.

But, not as powerful as the truth.

Mind you, it takes somewhat more resolve to speak the truth as an individual, than it takes for the lefty propaganda machine to spew their bile.

    Truth:

You have a right to defend life, liberty, and property.

You have a right to use, carry, and possess such weapons (firearm or other) as you deem suitable for the purpose. No government may legitimately interfere with your decision.
To demonstrate that people can actually go to the moon and back, you use the American experience.
To demonstrate that public safety is not adversely affected by responsible people carrying to protect life, you also use the American experience.

Mainstream media is owned by regime. It functions based on who pays more, not based truth.
Therefore, they can put spin on anything they want.
I agree that the truth is powerful but it’s a veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery slow train. It’s coming...but it’s slow.
While we are waiting on that “train” we are being manipulated and lied to left and right.
Just look at the population who’s not into firearms at all. At least 95% of them agree with mainstream propaganda regarding gun control. Let alone anything else. How about wars around the world caused by blood thirsty and money hungry monsters backed up by mainstream media? They convinced Americans to support war in Iraq because of “WOMD” so quickly while those were not to be found anywhere. How many people died as a result of that? Vietnam, Balkans... Hundreds of thousands! And? No one gives a flying f... anymore but vast majority of people were convinced in what propaganda machinery was serving every day. Everything was scripted and filtered and it still is.

You, yes you, are capable of telling the truth to your MP, MLA, and those in and outside the firearms community with whom you come in contact.

That is more powerful than the lies told by the MSM.

    Is it?
I’m not sure to be honest with you because it seems like “they” are winning.

Question - Have you been telling the truth?

Unless you and I, and many others do so - “they” will win.

No one is going to do it for us.

Telling people around me the truth?
Of course. Every time I get a chance I tell people the truth about guns and gun ownership in Canada.

They are not interested in preventing gun violence as much as they are interesting in preventing gun enthusiasm.

The primary goal is to prohibit anything gun related that makes it fun.

If all we are left with is boring wood stocked hunting guns, then we wont be passionate about them when they take those away.

    That's clearly the theory anyway.

So why the Ban? Sure sounds like they’re grasping at straws on this policy!

It doesn't matter what gun is used in a crime...

Anyone with half a brain would select the best weapon available. If one day it's a muzzle loader they will use that. It will still get the job done as it did 200 years ago.

So think that through... this gun ban will only throw light on the problem of whatever is left after the ban as that is what will be used for crimes.

There is no end to it... if they ban guns because its used in a crime, then that thinking will eventually ban all guns... then swords, bows, sharp sticks, rocks... etc.

As long as they are permitted to blame the tool and not the perp, this trend will continue.
