Ah, what about all the sport shooters using AR15's for 3 gun matches Mr Blair? Won't a ban restrict their activities? What about hunters using some of the recently developed non restricted semi auto rifles that look similar to AR's? A ban would seem to restrict their ability to hunt.

Exactly how I feel, why is my AR not called a RANGE carbine, as that is the only place I can use it, legally.
My real fear is AR`s will be grandfathered prohib, and ATRS, SLR, Stag, and whatever else non-restricted now , become restricted.
It's all about the narrative... The gun grabbers would have a much harder time instilling fear in the sheep if they didn't label it with a scary name.

They come out and blatantly state they want to ban and prohibit and "buyback"/confiscate all modern military-style sporting rifles (and shotguns for that matter), and your worry is some of the recent not-AR NR rifles will become restricted?
