Cool C-71 - Important Info Thread

    C-71 - Important Info Thread

Well, we let the internet name our gun! The winning name is Model C-71. Here's some preliminary specifications:

    • It's based on the 10/22 action
    • Made from aluminium. 6061 or 7075, we have yet to determine which is best for this.
    • 22LR Caliber
    • Integrated rail
    • Anodized finish, black & other colors possible
    • Sold as receiver along or assembled rifle
    • Price: TBD
    • Release Date: Unknown, we need to test this. We aren't going to release it unless it's perfect. Best guess, Q4 2019, Q1 2020.
    • More pics to come soon!

Ruger mags by default. However due to some changes to our action compared to others we have the ability to change what magazines it accepts by changing a part. More info to come soon.

Please make it take mags that accept more than 10 rounds. The Ruger mags are fantastic, however thanks to our overlords the 10rd capacity sucks.

This firearm should only be available in black, with a telescopic stock, pistol grip and anything / everything that bill C-71 was really about.

In other words, please make it "scary looking".

In some applications, absolutely it's better, but for a 10/22 action it likely makes zero difference. Thousands of rounds of testing will tell. It's double the cost and doesn't anodize as well, so if mechanically it's not required then we will not use it.
