Any chance you guys will be putting together a specially priced, complete parts kit for anyone with a stripped AR lower receiver?

Thanks,
BLt.

You mean like these?:

htt ps://truenortharms.com/ar15_default_store_view/catalogsearch/result/?q=Mystery+box

No... not a "mystery box", a clearly identified completion kit with only a (customer provided) stripped lower needed to build an AR15. One that includedes decent parts, a reasonable price and a link to provided here, with no guessing or ambiguity involved. That would be appreciated. (Even better would be multiple kits with choices of barrel lengths, various parts, quality of parts and colours.)

Thanks,
BLt.

They are called Lower parts kit (LPKs)

Uppers are so unique most don't make "parts kits" them. People are looking for different things which is why they build vs buy pre-made.

*edit
I spoke too soon.

Upper kits, just search for "completion kits", some have LPKs and a stock in them. Which is what you'd be looking for.

Yes those are completion kits... but what we are hoping for is a way to "build" a kit...for example having a choice of caliber, handguard length & style, barrel length, furniture color, etc...
Essentially a way to get all the parts we need by using a few dropdown menus to customize our finishing kits. A one stop easy shop if you will.

That's what you want. What the OP wanted was what I linked.

Yes you did... and thanks for that. It is very appreciated. Now, do you mind if I make requests as well that sort of echo what the OP wanted, but in a more clear and precise manner?

I'm sure that the kits that are already available at TNA are wonderful, they are a top notch business. But what I am trying to suggest is a way to possibly customize the kits to fit the caliber, furniture color, hand-guard style & length, barrel length, etc. Each addition or selection can be priced and added to a drop down menu (IE: Hand guard length choose 6" or 10" or 12" or 15"). Its a way of customizing the kits to suit the individual preference of the builder. I personally would pay a bit extra to NOT have to scour every vendor member's site on CGN to find what I want/need for a build. It makes it a one stop shop. Could be an interesting way to help build on the successful business TNA has developed, and increases the customer return traffic due to ease of purchase and their already stellar customer service.

Basically like.. selling a complete rifle minus the stripped lower, cept letting us save money and put it together ourselves? (a mix n match kit would be optimal for me, like a template where one selects whatever components one wants shipped in ones kit)

There are websites that allow me to build a computer to my specifications... pick a processor and motherboard, then specify the RAM, hard drive, peripherals, case, etc. It also flags whenever there are incompatible parts in the build.

I'm probably asking for too much, but if there's something like this for building an AR platform, I'd likely configure, build and buy 3-4 right off the bat.

As soon as you want to start selecting parts specific to your needs and desires how could one expect a discounted rate like the mystery box rate? It’s ludicrous to think that would be feasible but on that note tna pricing is as good as any and there is always good deals to be had

our development team is working on something like that :)

For now you can email us with your ideas and we'll help choose all the parts and make sure you don't miss anything. First step is to decide on your cartridge, then barrel length. Then we find a barrel and then choose a handguard, then go from there.

What your asking for is on every site it’s called a shopping cart go fill it with whatever you need

It sounds like you may not know what I'm talking about. Check out the Dell, Microsoft, Apple, or Alienware website, and try configuring a computer. It narrows down what's compatible, what's not compatible, and your options change depending on the starting platform you pick. True North Arms Corp gets it.

That's fantastic. Getting the system architecture up and running will be the time consuming part, but once it's set, it will only be a matter of adding inventory and creating relationships between parts (true/false statements for compatibility).

Do you guys have a timeline, and do you need beta testers?

Any update on this. I need all AR minus lower receiver. Can u help out?

Spend an evening reading up on ar15s and choose exactly what you want. Find a parts list and order up your own build kit. Thats the fun of an ar15.

Or get an assembled upper
Lower parts kit with trigger and grip.
Buffer tube kit with buffer
Butt stock of choice.

Ar15.com has a build tool for pretty much all that but it was build from the ground up to do that. TNAs website would probably have to be revamped to have that. All it does is save you a few clicks in the end by having it all on one page. Lazy shopping lol
