Ordered ... a present to my daughter ... please make it nice, folks! Tnx!
BTW, are these affected by the BCG recall?

Are the buyers expected to return BCGs of newly bought rifles to immediately ship (on their own dime?!?) BCGs for inspection/replacement?
Or the inspections/replacements on these are performed already?
I ordered two WK180s from two different dealers in eastern Canada, while waiting for my pre-order from the WK180s primary distributor.
The two from the dealers had serial numbers that fell within the recall.
The pre-ordered WK180 from Kodiak's primary distributer was received in late May and the S/N was well outside of the S/N range noted below.
So I strongly suspect that any rifle recently received by any dealer now, is most likely well outside of the S/N range as well - particularly with respect to Wanstalls.
If your rifle serial number is between CA0949-18 and 19CA2246, the voluntary recall by Kodiak will get you two new BCGs.
I'd had sent two BCGs into Kodiak "on my own dime" and got two new ones back in a total of 10 business days. I think it was $20.
Like yourself, I bought two rifles for my daughters, so I think the peace of mind was worth the $20.
IMHO - Kodiak's service has been excellent and the rifles excellent for the price.

I bought two myself and I think there are excellent rifles.
Yep, fixed wing is great but rotary wing is ... GREAT. Life is good. JP.
I sold my first one and had sellers remorse. Just snagged another. Need an optic now. And more ammo.
And it's Canada Day.
