Have you ever thought about food plots?

Over on our blog we talked a bit about food plots: how to make them, and when to use them.
If you're interested in exploring the topic give the article a read.

We'd love to hear about your food plots too!

Thank you for the interesting post. I was thinking of creating one at my hunting property in Northern Ontario next spring... I have a tractor and a disk ... may need to get a cheap used cultivator and put in beets and other deer favourites. I will definitely keep track of this thread ... perhaps post some pictures

We would love to see photos!
Some years we create a little food plot example out in front of the store, if we do one this year I'll put some updates in here for you too.

Thanks for this - I am hoping to buy an acreage or recreational property in the next couple of years and this is "food" for thought on how to best make it a good hunting ground, and how much space to set aside.
