Cool Spectre Ballistics Model C-71 Test Firing

We managed to hit the range today to shoot our Model C-71 10/22. The action ran great. We fired about 800 rounds though it, 500 Thunderbolt and 300 Federal. We had a couple dud in the federal but no failures caused by the gun. If any of you are coming to the CHAS 3 Gun match next weekend, we'll have the rifle there for you to see.

    Here's a clip from today's shooting:

Will you guys be selling these as a receiver only, barreled action or full rifle? Also is there an expected timeline for these to be on the market? I'm looking forward to these!

Right now we are looking at selling it as a receiver only, but that could change as we get closer to the release date. We are currently testing an updated version that we machined this past week to find any issues with it. If that goes well we may be looking at having the rifle on the market in the first half 2020.

Hopefully it beats the c71 registry.

    Thanks!

Just so everyone knows, we are currently on our 5th iteration of the design. The rifle works very well and we are optimizing the design for CNC machining.

Is there any way to include a bolt hold open design after the last shot?

The guy who would know this is on vacation right now, so I can't give you an answer until he is back.

Nope, not with Ruger magazines. But since this 10/22 can accept different types of magazines it might be a possible.
