1. Buyer transfers payment to seller
2. Seller initiates transfer and gives application number to buyer
3. Buyer informs me when transfer is approved
4. Get an ATT to my post office, and ship it

Question:

To take it to the post-office, I need to follow transportation rules of a restricted so it the rifle must be in a locked case (I have hard cases). Does that mean I need to also mail the rifle said locked hard case (legally speaking?). I understand the requirements set by Canada post but in my experience buying non-restricted rifles is that everyone uses a cardboard box.

Thanks

Pretty much covers it, although at step #2 I always ask the CFO to email me a copy of the transfer notification also, that way I know the transfer was approved before I ship.
When I sell a restricted, I always ship it in a cheap Flambeau case from CanTire, it's $30 or so, I just look at it as the cost of doing business on a restricted
