Will this also work with models that have external choke threads?

Thanks for the inquiry. Unfortunately these do not. These are designed for new generation F12’s with internal chokes and smooth external barrel profile.

Can it handle shot or only slugs?

The brakes are able to handle whatever you want to put through them and will work with either bird, buckshot or slugs.

.8870" is what my Turkish barrel, internal choke but not a typhoon F1 O.D. measures out at..... I wonder if it will fit?
