M88/Hunters were NOT threaded.... someone Bubba’d that gun....

All M88s, Hunters, and Petra's in 30-06 had threaded barrels from factory. Muzzle device gets two tapered pins though their lower horizontal axis, perpendicular to and intersecting the barrel to hold position.

Does this mean that the 30-06 Petra pictured has a removable front site with the threading underneath? Since the front site is flush with the end of the barrel.
