    Too bad they couldn't chamber these in .223. .30 carbine is such a dead cartridge..... nostalgic though.

    If you want a .223 then don't get an M1 Carbine.

    Be careful in buying one. Auto Ordanance sends out duds sometimes. I sent mine back to NS to be repaired twice and in the end I fixed it myself. These rifles are extremely finicky with the mags.

    Beautiful looking gun though. And the .30carbine round is a blast to shoot.

    love these. I have the Auto Ordnance regular stock one and love it. Accurate, reliable, non restricted and when you are using it you don't have to worry about degrading a collectable one. If I had the $$ I would buy one of these as well. Highly recommended.
