Hey T.E.C.,

Just want to give some props for correcting my shipping address today! I made an order last night - that's right boys and girls T.E.C. shipped next day! - but apparently forgot to key in my unit number.

When I subsequently received the ASN from CanPar, I caught the missing address line 2. A quick call to T.E.C. and they totally grabbed CanPar delivery guy right then and there as he happened to be onsite, and updated the ship-to.

Lesser retailers would have just told me "we'll do what we can" and I'd likely not see my order for a month after some back and forth.

Thank you T.E.C. for solid service!!

Those days are long gone and now they don't even answer emails.
 
I placed 2 orders with them 2 days ago. Prior to my order I emailed them and got an answer within 24h. Day of order I had a question and they answered the phone on the 1st ring. They shipped the day after my order.
 
Owner did mention some time ago that he is winding down the business. They've been solid. But saddened with the retailers who depend on sport shooters for their livelihood. A ban with COVID is a dagger through the heart.

Alas, this be a Tradex thread not a political one.
 
They are one of my favourite dealers, I just bought from them a freaking nice 357 magnum revolver and transaction was great!
 
Just made my first purchase with them last week. Once I actually read the FAQ I placed the order without issue, but they were responsive when I messaged them. Item looks good, haven't tried...but VERY positive experience overall.
 
Tradeex rocks! Great deals on used European firearms, reloading components, milsurp parts. Never had an issue, just bought 3 boxes of 9mm Browning long, won't find that at Canadian Tire/ Cabelas.

Bought a Carl Gustaf M96 in 6.5x55 from them many years ago. One of my favourite rifles. Somebody loved this rifle and gave it a nicely checkered walnut stock (probably not the original stock cut down - but it could be) with a palm swell, polished extractor, bent and ground bolt handle, changed the safety and the back of the bolt. I'm not sure if it has a new barrel on it but the rifling is perfect. Shoots 1/2 groups with 140 grain SST and 45 grains of IMR 4350.

I asked them a few questions about how the stock would line your eye up with a scope on it. They said it would line up well. They sent me a few close up pictures so I could see more detail. I placed my order and shipping was fast.

Best $400 I ever spent.

First this is an old tread restarted for nothing.
Tradex has stated more than a year ago that they are heading in retirement with now, very limited hours and services.
They don’t spend time on emails and answering treads. So ‘shoothout ‘ and the like are just spitting against the wind. If you need anything - give them a call in their OPENING hours..

So? We are still buying from them and they are happily selling to us!!
