Have you tried putting 5 3.5" shells in the tube? If there is still room in the tube then you might not need to modify anything to get 7 2.75" shells in.

I have, ts a tight 5. However with out the little plastic spring keeper at the end of the tube it can fit seven 2 3/4" as a point of reference. I wouldn't run the gun with out that as it has the ratchet teeth that keep the end cap on.

How big is the follower? Maybe a smaller one or a shorter spring would do it.

Yes they are drilled and tapped.

I doubt that we will see anything shorter than this. The US state department has really clamped down on export of shotgun barrels shorter than 18". Not sure why it be like it is but it do.

They are non restricted with a 18.5" barrel. And they do have a fixed choke.

The real question is, how many of the 1-3/4" mini shot shells does it fit? Double digits!?

Reliable has on their site these guns with a ProBore IC, are they different that yours? About the only thing keeping me from buying one is the fixed choke.

They are exactly the same SKU and from the same supplier. They have a fixed choke and are designated as the Canadian compliant model on the end of the box.
