for those folks its an emotional issue, unfortunately logic has nothing to do with it.

I have a firearms license. NOT a weapons license.
The books for the PAL/RPAL test specifically mention FIREARMS.
Until you get to codified Canadian Criminal law do firearms used in commission of a crime become weapons.
A Firearm is A Firearm unless used in the capacity of a weapon.
Envy green is not a color well worn. Might want to quit while you're ahead
A hammer or baseball bat is not a weapon unless used as such.
A firearm is a weapon by it's very definition, even when used as a hole punch. Fire "ARM" as in armament or weapon.
As example, if you place a rock on a stack of newspapers it is now being used as a paperweight, but it does not cease being a rock.

I may be an A$$hole, but at least I'm not a hypocrite.
Firearms, weapons, tools, boomsticks, guns... This debate about what something is called is useless and in the end, even if it was called "unicorn tears" they'd still ban your collection of unicorn tears.
Off to the range with my military style assault weapon and my Austrian hand held paper punch
Left wing, right wing, they belong to the same bird.
There are a couple of rifles (one is a bolt) and a few pistols I would like to try out. Instead I will take the family to Mexico... departing from buffalo?
did they hire 81000 people? If not then they didnt create a single job. They just subsidized wages as part of the wealth transfer thats happening and paid companies to bring people back to work. The minimum wage will rise off the backs of tax payers and the corporations will get away with paying people even less.
yeah but trudea isnt an investor in gun companies most likely. No doubt he divested everything to do with oil and gas before he ran the first time. The pipeline purchase was a wealth transfer to a business who couldnt get their project done so Canada bailed them out rather than a private business loosing some money.
