    WTB full semiautomatic assault rifles, double barrel extended magazine clips, 30 magazine clips (half second or better), shoulder things that go up and high power ammo that can go through walls.

    NATO tried to make 7.62 assault rifles by giving versions of the M14 and FAL selective fire, but that it was too powerful a chambering for use by the average soldier. So for all practical purposes the battle rifles were a range of bolts and semiautos in full-power .30/7.62, while the practical assault rifles ran on intermediate-power cartridges.

    Arguably the selective-fire 7.62 rifles (both the overpowered NATO and the 7.62x39 Soviet) were transitional weapons between the classic battle rifles and modern small-bore assault rifles.
