I order a pair of “steel” mags, does that mean I’ll be getting the plastic ones instead ?

Yup, I too ordered 2 steel and 2 plastic mags, guess I actually ended up paying less for the plastic mags tho as the steel ones were advertised as 35$ instead of the 36$ Forsythe plastic lol

They inventoried them as 22lr but they are 9mm versions
