Curious, is the reason you mentioned the "forearm" because this clips underneath it? This doesn't actually require replacement of the handguard, does it?
No replacing needed at all, yep it clips underneath and takes about 30 seconds to install.

If you need any measurements or pics or anything from a Turknelli for future products shoot me a PM, I've had both of mine completely disassembled multiple times and likely have pictures of whatever you want to check.
I think that would require a dremel or something, since aluminum doesn’t have the flex that polymer does but I’m just speculating. Good to meet another from the okanagan!
