    I’ve had one with an PSA 7.62x39 upper slapped to it for years now,no issues.

    Yes, they are very dependable, I have run one in two gun for a couple of seasons and it has performed exactly as it should

    Pre-orders are horrible for everyone involved. They never go smooth. We will not be doing a pre-order to bankroll this project.

    yes,
    the plastic bumps out and is threaded to receive set screws (included) that can retain any standard pins. Here's a sketch from the patent.
