And? Does the ICS front end work? Or just the handguard?

Has anyone out there found metal/aluminum rails for the GSG-16? The polymer rails are tragically flimsy…

P.S. for any of you concerned with weight, there’s a 1lb hunk of steel in the grip of the GSG-16 which can be easily removed…

Some sort of joke? If so, sorry, I'm not following. The grip weighs almost nothing.

If you add bags .22 ammo or metal pieces in the pistol grip and hollow fixed stock, the firearm feels way more realistic. Drop da Bomb has 3D printed rails with extended tabs inside the plastic halves that make optics mounting more rigid. If you swap out the Poly rails the factory brass receiver inserts will pull out.

Unscrew the plate on the bottom of the grip and have a look inside.

I’ve noticed the poly rails will contort with very, very little effort. With a scope or red dot mounted, it feels like the rail could easily snap off, and certainly not return the optic to zero.

I have no issues with the rail with larger tabs inside the frame.
