Question about the MS18-A3 version the removable carry handle where did you source those?

Are they the $50 Chinese knockoff ncstar type ones that are the only ones you can find in Canada that wobble sit loose and won't hold a zero or are they Colt quality ones that are impossible to find in Canada ?

Question - if you still have a large number of these receivers just sitting there, could they be sold as "receiver build sets" like the Modern Sporter sets? They would obviously need to include any proprietary parts, particularly those related to the side charging system. I, for one, would love to build something on a Varmint receiver. I'm one of the guys who likes left-side charging.

I always wanted a MV, but the price point has always been a little too high for me (based on a 6.5 grendal build in their build menu costing $4880). Even though I'm currently building 2 very gucci MS's.

With the MS it's easier to just buy multiple uppers. That side charging handle tho.

Our insurance carrier has made it abundantly plain that we can only sell complete and tested Hunters and Varmints due to the number of proprietary parts.
We can employ your supplied parts to a degree.
Best bet is to contact us at the shop to discuss what we can and can't do.

Cool, thanks for the info. Might actually do that down the road when your production catches up a bit and you have some time

99.9% (or more) of the diy guys would f#@k it up and end up with a very unsafe rifle. It's understandable that ATRS simply won't allow this to happen.
Thanks for the info, I hadn't seen it asked, but I haven't lurked the Varmint forums. And I would be one of the 99.9% who would fvck it up, guaranteed.

Only US or Canada manufactured parts. (Stag/Bushmaster are currently two options we're looking at, but we're reaching out to Colt as well).

About 50% are already sold, so yes there are still some available.
