These seem like a great option, a pinch on the heavy side maybe but thats to be expected for a 34mm tube and turrets.

Have the peeps over at GBT had a look through the glass? What d'ya think? I've heard the quality of glass to be so-so, but this isn't necessarily a specific long range / target piece and with the 8x mag range its harder to get real crisp glass. What about the eye box on it? I like the 2.5-20 range for something you can still handle thicker bush and shorter shots with as long as the eye box is forgiving. Got my moose this season at 20 yards, 2.5 magnification (2.5-10x50) so this setup appeals.

Cody C, I had a quick look through one of these scopes down in GA last month and I was quite impressed with it! For that sub-2k mark, it is definitely an interesting option. The glass looked comparable to a Bushnell DMR or Vortex Razor Gen1 from my quick time with it. The magnification rang is huge and the parallax range is there to back it up too. I am not the biggest fan of the turrets, but again, for the money it's an overall good buy I think

Thanks Kudu. Yes Cody C the glass is definitely great quality for that price point at the same level as those mentioned by Kudu. With the huge magnification ring the eyebox can be fuzzy at top end. The TS12 is a perfect setup for hunting and very forgiving eyebox, but only a 3-12x42. The TS-20X puts a lot of scope and value into an optic for the $2k price point, and is a lot lighter than many competitors.
